Equipments

Speed, Agility, balance, Recovery

Speed, agility and strength are game changers, and some players have to put more work into them than others. At the end of the day, all players should look to improve in these areas. It really is a game changer and helped me improve my game a lot. Here’s some recommended equipment to help you do so.

Cones, Balls, Goals

These are great tools to use to improve your footwork, ball control, shooting, and much more. Team practice and personal lessons are great places to pick up information and knowledge so you can go yourself and put in the much needed repetition that it will take to perfect your skills. Training time with a private coach or team is never really enough and better yet when you’re away and don’t have access to your coaches and trainers it’s especially necessary to maintain your skills by training on your own.

All weather Gear

Especially during this time as we recover from the pandemic, indoor spaces are harder and harder to come by during the winter season so we are left to conduct training in the cold. Here is some nice durable gear that I’ve tested out myself. This is good not only for the players but parents and babysitters that stay out there with them. There’s also different seasonal and weather gear recommendations.

Parents as well as players on here you’ll find some stores that have a good variety of soccer shoes and always have a good amount in stock.

Links and Videos for drills

Here you’ll find a good data base of drills you can do on your own at home. Some of them I’ve tested and used as a player growing up which helped me a lot.

You will also find some good soccer highlight videos of some of the best to ever grace the field. Growing up, videos like these inspired me and taught me a ton. I hope they will do the same for you.

Some things I never learned from a coach I just picked up from watching cool highlight videos and games and went out to practice what I saw on tv or the computer.
